What is your jurisdiction? In most places you can’t get a copy of private communications between business entities. You may be able to get it destroyed, but read it is far out.

So COVID is officially over or were they wrong about the efficacy?
Back to normal, Armageddon has been delayed so we can save more people, we misread the coffee grounds and now we need to go back door to door.
Note that since the 1900s more JWs have died waiting for the end to come than are currently alive.

Smoking gun GB can’t get out of this one
by Mikejw inhere in 2022 if anyone says anything against the vaccines even a little bit you are almost apostate.. someone once mentioned all vaccinated sports stars collapsing and someone else said not to speak badly about the gb or by extension jehovah.. the gb can’t get out of this one, it’s gone too far.
it’s now the case that if you speak against the vaccines you are speaking against the gb and by extension jehovah .

You’d think they at least get some special light right before the Geddon. How many people didn’t stake their hopes on COVID and then the disaster created in Ukraine by our governments being the final end.
Great hopes dashed again, back to normal, back door to door, nothing to see here, nobody screwed up, just move along, we never said pandemic was a sign of the end. How many haven’t heard from the GB that the door to door will cease right before the end and that this was fulfillment of their prophecies.

So I posted several links over the last few months to actual medical journals showing the risks and damages of the mRNA vaccines. Yet people say we are tinfoil hatters.
The polio vaccine is a classic vaccine, classic vaccines for COVID were developed and proven to be more effective, yet government agencies refused to adopt them. But we are once again seeing the return of vaccine resistant polio in the West. We didn’t eradicate polio, we suppressed it, it continues to circulate in the population, that is well known that vaccinated individuals can be carriers for polio.
A virus like COVID spreads like the flu, and like the flu it cannot be vaccinated against, you may be able to reduce your symptoms but variants emerge too quickly for any governments to even get to their paperwork. What you need to combat that is fully commercialized zero-regulation medicine, manufacturers would be incentivized to get working and safe solutions such as remdesivir to reduce the symptoms of the sick.
I think we had a good 50 years of medicinal advance and our governments screwed it up, let people live their life and make medical solutions a capitalist competition with actual risks. Get government mandates, funding and protections out of the loop. I would trust a company that is willing to take responsibility better than a government that won’t.
Within a few years we will all talk about the side effect and people like Jan here will point at the scientific research I brought up and say: but we knew about it all along, people are just ignorant, just like the WTBTS does with 1975, CNN, BBC and company will clean out old archives as they already done on many other subjects and those of us that have always said it will be the tinfoil hatters. They did it on global cooling, global warming, overpopulation, oil and water shortages, the world should’ve ended from natural disaster created by humans multiple times between 1980 and today what makes this subject any different.

Do you think the JW's ever will or could go the Mormon route?
by BettyHumpter inwhat i mean is the mormon's have their own set of wacky beliefs and are a pretty insular group, engage in a form of door to door ministry but don't discourage higher education.
in fact, the handful of mormons i went to school with were pushed to excel academically and go to college.
yeah there are ex mormons but for a great many, going to university doesn't turn them into atheists.

I'm talking about the main branch. The one with the giant temple in Salt Lake City and the ones who founded and now sponsor Brigham Young University.
Seventh Day Adventists are similarly sized to the mainstream LDS (18M members), allow people to go to college, don't ban blood transfusions etc etc and have the same roots and promote similar beliefs to the JW. In proper historical perspective, the SDA are the mainstream branch of Millerism, not the WTBTS/JW.
The Mormons are a lot more fractioned but there are denominations of similar (active) size to JWs that are much more strict and as with the JWs it varies greatly from region to region as the control is also centralized with specific men rather than congregations.
There's no apples-to-apples comparison between the JW and the mainstream LDS, which is what has lead to their growth. The dangerous elements of centralized control of the late 19th and early 20th century that lead to abuse in those mainstream groups have been largely eliminated. Similarly has the SDA not necessarily rejected but pretty much eliminated the Miller calculations on Bible prophecies from their message (the basis to the end of the world predictions in the late 19th and early 20th century) and gone to a representative leadership structure. So they still believe in the literal 1000 year reign, but they don't promise any time schedule, not even "soon".

Did the Watchtower Society ban Vaccinations and Organ Transplants?
by Vanderhoven7 inan avid wts supporter writes:.
re: vaccinations: vaccinations have never been banned.
if they were, then no representative of the wts would have been allowed to travel overseas when vaccines were compulsory around 1920 when vaccines was regularly in the news, there was both positive and negative information printed in the golden age (forerunner of the awake) but not from the staff writers, but from out side sources of article by medical doctors at the time and others that responded to those articles.. re: organ transplants: organ transplants were never forbidden by the society.

All organ transplants involve transplanting blood as well, blood itself is also considered an organ.
Transplants:

Vaccinations:

The pictures are hilarious.

There are various factions of Mormons, just like there are multiple factions of Millerites. Ba’hai, Seventh Day Adventist, JW, Bible Students etc are to Millerism what LDS, FLDS, Firstborn, Reorganized etc are for Mormons.
I’m sure the FLDS doesn’t allow their kids to go to college either and they also kick those that don’t accommodate out. But they continue to exist as long as there are girls being born for the leader. The JWs don’t have to moderate as long as there are enough people to fund the lifestyle of the 7.

The risk in miscarriages has increased 5-fold in early stages of gestation (when most miscarriages happen) and nearly doubled later stages: https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc2113891
We just had a family member had 3 miscarriages, 2 of which were ectopic after being forced the shot for her job, she got 3 healthy pregnancies before, she is still young and healthy, even her doctors are saying it’s extremely rare for ectopic pregnancies to happen multiple times in a row.

Useless Majors
by Sea Breeze ini was passing through a very liberal college town recently during rush hour.
so, i decided to stop for some refreshment at a fine-looking establishment and wait for traffic to die down.
a young waitress waited on me who probably could have been stevie nicks twin when she was young.

I wouldn’t say many STEM majors are useless. I would say polisci is pretty much useless.
There are a lot of academic studies that would do better if it weren’t a degree as much as a field of study. Like the example, shouldn’t be that specific, she should get a degree in anthropology and then specialize her PhD on the subject.
Most of the liberal arts things (majors in the arts, music, dance, painting etc) you shouldn’t get a degree for, but you would be better apprenticing for a master, interning at a museum or a research assistant to an actual lab and then the wheat and chaff would be much better separated.
